Overview

Gorilla Glass is one of the most consequential material innovations in consumer technology — used in over 2.5 billion devices worldwide. But most consumers have no idea it exists, let alone what it does. The Motorola x Corning partnership set out to change that, not through spec sheets, but through proof.

The concept was straightforward: take a Motorola device to the most extreme environment on earth and film what happens. The North Pole. Temperatures that make conventional electronics fail. The kind of conditions that don't appear in any lab test. The content series that resulted wasn't a product demonstration. It was an adventure documentary that happened to star a phone.

Alex's role was content strategy and creative direction — from the expedition concept through to long-form and short-form content execution. The challenge was sustaining narrative tension across a content series while communicating technical performance claims in a way that felt genuinely earned, not engineered.
